‘Read Between the Lines’ is an interpretation of ‘I thought about killing you’ by Kanye West, playing with with concept of hidden meanings. Once I read into the lyrics, philosophical references of Carl Jung revealed that Kanye may be discussing his shadow self, acknowledging the darker subconscious and instead using the idea of murder as an expression of love which is an evident theme throughout.
