COZE

2019

Interaction Design |  Visual Identity

Media: JavaScript, Illustrator, XD, Premiere Pro and After Effects

Tutors: Isaac Blankensmith, Maya Man and Callil Capuozzo

COZE allows you to record one second videos from your environment and directly translate them into the form of a personalized soundboard. From the collection of samples that you have recorded, you can then play and mix the videos together to create beats sourced from your day to day surroundings.

Once you've finished playing, you can export your creation in a range of different visual outputs and share them with your friends.

In collaboration with Jun Hong Park and Ananya Behera

“If you develop an ear for sounds that are musical it is like developing an ego. You begin to refuse sounds that are not musical and that way cut yourself off from a good deal of experience.”
